Heating elements for an industrial air duct heater are mounted to a 1/4-inch. Duct heaters, with their 6 mm thick steel flange, are easily adaptable to many nonpressurized air-heating systems. They can be easily installed in applications that require a variety of temperature versus air flow combinations. The modular duct heater improves reliability. Individual modules are removable through the assembly's housing, eliminating the need to remove the entire heater from the ductwork. This lowers downtime costs because the heating elements can be replaced individually. Performance enhancements include faster response time and less infiltration of the heated air stream into the electrical enclosure.
